Challenge:
Create a new, responsive park district website that allowed for easy registration and access to information along with a universal park brand.

Idea/Inspiration:
Gained insight from meetings with residents, park district employees, executive director, general managers and researched other successful municipal websites. A committee was formed to oversee production phases and add suggestions. Went for a clean look with access to information in less than two selections. Easy online registration, mobile-friendly, inbound marketing leads for rentals and room for unlimited expansion.

The redesigned website offers quick and easy access to essential information and features while offering a more comprehensive understanding of all the Park District has to offer.  The website also offers online registration, a park finder with directions, online facility rental forms, employment listings, outdoor ice rink and sled hill status and individual park listings with pictures, park features and maps.

Awarded 1st place in Website Design at the 2017 Agency Showcase Competition held at the annual IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference and is the premier communications and marketing competition for municipal agencies.
